1. You can’t avoid stress in life, no matter how hard you try. Stress is that tension you feel when faced with a new or tough situation. Watch out though: all that stress can add up. It can hurt your physical and mental health and affect your relationships with family and friends.

6. When you eat, your body turns the food you eat into sugar. This sugar moves through your bloodstream and is transferred to your cells by a chemical called insulin. When you have diabetes, too much sugar can be in your blood because the insulin is not transferring the sugars properly.
