Community Resources

ACEs are adverse childhood experiences, or traumatic events such as abuse, neglect, or family dysfunction.

Understanding ACEs in our community helps us better understand how health and social problems in our community are impacted by things that happen to people in childhood. We can build a more “trauma informed community” where we support and help each other to overcome challenges to become more resilient, together.
