Dr. Ahmedani Presents Suicide Safe Care Model in Muskegon

When the Henry Ford Health System decided to focus on combating suicide they developed a model that surpassed all expectations.


THE SUICIDE SAFE CARE MODEL; Aiming for Zero Suicides


Henry Ford Health saw a dramatic reduction in suicides and even had a year with zero suicides among their thousands of members. Dr. Ahmedani travels the nation and the world introducing health systems to this model. It is evidence based and yielding results in other communities. Now Dr. Ahmedani will visit West Michigan and we want to invite Social Workers, Doctors, Nurses, health system Administrators, suicide prevention workers, school staff, and others to hear his presentation.


SEPTEMBER 19th at 11:30am-12:30pm he will be in Ottawa County as a guest of North Ottawa Community Hospital and Ottawa County CMH. Social Work CEs are pending. Please contact Mishelle at to register.
