HealthWest to host public hearing on June 24


June 24, 2022 at 8:30 a.m.

The Muskegon County Board of Commissioners will hold a special board meeting on June 24, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. in the boardroom at the HealthWest Mental Health Center, 376 East Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442.

The purpose of the special meeting is to hold a public hearing regarding the possible transition of HealthWest from a county community mental health agency (an agency of the County) to a community mental health authority (a separate public body) pursuant to the Mental Health Code, Act 258 of 1974, and to consider any other business that comes before the Board of Commissioners.

Anyone who wishes to contact members of the Muskegon County Board of Commissioners to provide input may contact Questions about the business that will come before the Board at the special meeting may contact HealthWest at before the start of the meeting. Members of the public also may offer public comment during the special meeting.

Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services to attend should notify HealthWest at (231) 720-3280 within a reasonable time in advance of the meeting.
