Notice of July 19 and Aug. 16 public hearings

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETINGS AND PUBLIC HEARINGS

 

COUNTY OF MUSKEGON

BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

July 19, 2022 and August 16, 2022

at 4:30 p.m.

 

The Muskegon County Board of Commissioners will hold two special board meetings.  The first meeting will be held on July 19 and the second will be held on August 16, 2022, both at 4:30 p.m. in the boardroom at the Michael E. Kobza Hall of Justice, 990 Terrace Street, Muskegon, MI 49442.

 

The purpose of these special meetings is to hold public hearings regarding the possible transition of HealthWest from a county community mental health agency (an agency of the County) to a community mental health authority (a separate public body) pursuant to the Mental Health Code, Act 258 of 1974, and to consider any other business that comes before the Board of Commissioners.

 

Anyone who wishes to contact members of the Muskegon County Board of Commissioners to provide input may contact  Commissioners@muskegoncounty.net. Questions about the business that will come before the Board at the special meeting may contact HealthWest at community.relations@healthwest.net before the start of the meetings. Members of the public also may offer public comment during the special meetings.
