Diabetes means your blood sugar is out of balance because the insulin is not transferring the sugars properly. African Americans are at a greater risk for diabetes than most, so it’s important to know the signs.

Yes, I try to be as healthy as I can. No, I don’t know a lot about nutrition.8. You’ve got to get sleep. If you don’t, your overall health will suffer. Most adults needs 7-9 hours of sleep each night. Not getting enough sleep can have some serious consequences.

No, I don’t sleep very well. I sleep great.9. You’ve got to have good dental habits. That’s how you protect your teeth and gums from many oral diseases. Taking care of your teeth can also help you avoid other serious health problems, such as heart disease.
