HealthWest specializes in providing integrated healthcare for individuals living with serious and persistent mental illness. Since our clients are experts in their own care, we work together with you to develop a Person Centered Plan (PCP) that includes services and supports designed to help you achieve your goals and support you or your loved one's recovery process. Services are provided by multi-disciplinary teams, including Supports Coordinators, Nurses, Peer Support Specialists, Employment Specialists, psychiatrists and Masters Level Clinicians.

Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC)

As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), we provide integrated mental health services that specifically address medical and behavioral health needs. Furthermore, we have expanded services now include care management, care coordination, and primary care screenings.

Comprehensive Care

We offer a full continuum of mental health services to include, although not limited to, depression, treatment of mood and anxiety concerns, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma care, clinical and wellness groups, psychological first aid, assessment and referrals, Veteran's care, clinical support and wellness groups to medication administration and review.

How To Access Services

Adults are encouraged to walk into HealthWest during business hours where a member of the Access Team will meet with the individual, then complete an assessment and make a referral for services. Those services could be within HealthWest or with one of the various providers with which we contract. To walk in, visit the HealthWest Main Campus: 376 E. HealthWest Crisis Residential Care

HealthWest Crisis Residential Center offers treatment and support for adults who are having a serious psychiatric crisis but do not require hospitalization. The center provides client-driven, recovery-oriented treatment in a comfortable environment. What's more, we will work with you to develop and achieve individualized goals in order to resolve the crisis and to get you back to your life within the community as soon as possible.

The goal of the program is to assist each resident in attaining a level of stability and independence that will allow them to return to life within the community with as much independence as possible. We are a state licensed, 6-bed residence that was established to provide short-term support and stabilization for adult members of the community who are struggling with a mental health crisis. Services include:

  • 24 hour staffing
  • Access to psychiatric and nursing services
  • Mental and physical health assessments
  • Medications and education about medications
  • Behavioral health services
  • Community health referrals, transportation and advocacy
  • Semi-private rooms with adjoining bathroom
  • Meals and snacks
  • Laundry service and assistance
  • In-house and community activities
  • Financial advocacy/referral/information
  • Discharge planning
