SMART Recovery

SMART Recovery is one of the leading recovery groups in the United States dedicated to helping participants learn tools and techniques for self-empowerment. Participants in the group learn tools to aid their recovery process based on substantial, proven scientific evidence and research and, therefore, are encouraged to engage with a global support system. The group offers two extensions, an adult and a teen program.

For adults, it's a fresh approach to addiction recovery. Adults learn a transformative method of moving from addictive substances and negative behaviors to a life of positive self-regard and willingness to change. Similarly, for teens, SMART Recovery offers a place where teens can get together to try to look into and change behaviors that hurt themselves and, consequently, others, i.e. smoking, drinking, fighting, and using drugs, to name a few.
